The brand new Stratasys F3300 was introduced to the UK market with two days of informative talks and demonstrations.

SYS Systems hosted the UK Launch Event of the all-new FDM 3D printer at its Advanced Innovation Centre in Derby, welcoming visitors to take a closer look at the revolutionary new machine.

Launched by world-leading additive manufacturing specialists Stratasys earlier this year, the F3300 is set to transform the manufacturing landscape with groundbreaking new features and faster 3D printing throughput.

Rob Thompson, Group Sales Director of SYS Systems’ parent company Carfulan Group, said: “The UK Launch Event for the F3300 was a huge success, with a great deal of interest in the benefits that it can bring to manufacturers.

“The new technological advancements are a step-change for FDM 3D printing and visitors were able to see this technology first-hand.

“We hope that they gained a lot of insight into the F3300 from the talks and demonstrations and were able to gain a glimpse into how Stratasys continues to lead the 3D printing market.”

The F3300 prints up to twice the speed of current industrial FDM printers, producing twice as many parts in the same amount of time.

Four preloaded, ready-to-print extruders multiply the printer’s efficiency, with a patented tool changer automatically swapping out extruders when needed, eliminating the time required to change materials or restart a print job

Onboard dryers also keep materials at the proper humidity levels to maintain optimal mechanical properties. This includes the ability to set a drying prescription that the onboard dryer will execute to establish the proper material desiccation.

Rob added: “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended the event across the two days. It was a great success and shows a clear appetite for the technology in the UK.

“We would also like to thank Matt Jones and Simon Brandon from Stratasys for joining us on both days to share their insight and expertise.”

If you missed the event or are keen to take a closer look at the F3300, or any of the other machines in the Stratasys portfolio, the doors to the Advanced Innovation Centre are always open for visitors and demonstrations.
