Dental labs from across the UK gathered for the SYS Systems Dentistry Lab Day to get a closer look at Stratasys dental 3D printing technology.
The event at the Advanced Innovation Centre in Foston, Derby provided a unique platform for dental professionals to connect, share insights and witness first-hand how Stratasys technology is revolutionising the industry.
Attendees explored the capabilities of the J5 DentaJet 3D printer, seeing live demonstrations of how it enables the efficient, high-precision production of realistic, multi-coloured dental prosthetics in a single print.
The event highlighted the benefits of this technology for dental labs, including streamlined workflows, reduced lead times and enhanced aesthetics.
There was also a first-look at the brand-new TrueDent-D resin which enables batch production of highly-aesthetic, monolithic, multi-colour dental appliances on a single mixed part, high-capacity tray.

Rob Thompson, Group Sales Director of SYS Systems’ parent company the Carfulan Group, said: “Events like this are vital for the industry. They allow dental professionals to see cutting-edge technology in action, understand its impact and collaborate on how to integrate these advancements into their own workflows. TrueDent-D is a game-changer and we’re excited to showcase what’s possible with Stratasys 3D printing.”
The launch event fostered industry connections and discussions on the future of additive manufacturing in dentistry, reinforcing SYS Systems’ role in supporting UK dental labs with the latest innovations.
